Robert (Bob) Young

Bob was raised in Alexandria Virginia in a family which was dedicated to helping those in need. He was a volunteer for ALIVE!, An organization of local churches which collected and distributed food, clothing, appliances and furniture for the disadvantaged residents of Alexandria.
Bob graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1975.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in May, 1979.
Bob was a Staff Attorney for Division III of the Washington Court of Appeals for two years. He was a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the Small Business Administration for three years in Spokane, WA. He litigated Bankruptcy and foreclosure cases in Federal Court. He and his family moved to Chelan where he was a partner in Doty & Young, a general practice Law Firm as well as an Emergency Medical Technician.
In 1989 Bob was hired as an Assistant Attorney General and moved his family to Yakima. He litigated Dependency, Child Support, Worker’s Compensation and License Revocation cases.
In 1994, Bob acquired and was partners with Lauren Dobbs. Dobbs & Young focused mainly on Family Law.
Bob raised his three sons in Yakima. He now livesin West Valley with his wife and daughter. They enjoy hunting Deer and Elk. They have a small farm which consists of horses, chickens, ducks and English Mastiffs.
